Returns After Delivery
- All returns must be in the original packaging and in the same condition as it was received
- All returns must be submitted with complete evidence and information within 24hrs of your delivery. We do not consider evidence submitted outside the agreed deadlines
- The courier company will only collect the returned product from the registered shipping address (meaning, the original delivery address) and under no circumstances will the product be collected from another address. This safeguard is in place to inspect the product at the original address to avoid any possibility of breakage in subsequent transits.
- If the product has been moved to another address, the return stands void.
Inspecting Your Delivery & Reporting Damage
Please unpack carefully — we’ll need the original box and internal packaging in re-usable condition if a return is required.
Check everything as soon as it arrives. If anything is damaged or faulty, let us know within 24 hours of delivery. Regrettably, we’re unable to consider damage claims notified after this 24-hour window.
How Refunds Work
As soon as your return reaches us and passes inspection, we’ll process a full refund back to the original payment method. It can then take a few additional working days for the money to appear in your account, depending on your bank or card issuer.
Order Cancellation
If you decide to cancel before your item has been processed, we can refund you.
If the order process has begun we’ll need to deduct a £45 administration fee (£150 for larger pieces) from any refund. When an order is placed, our system automatically reserves and pays for a courier slot, so this charge simply covers those non-recoverable costs.
The Nature of Handmade Solid Wood Furniture
All of our furniture is crafted by hand from natural timber. Because we work with real wood (not manufactured board), every single piece is unique. Variations in grain pattern, colour tone, texture, knots, and the way the timber naturally moves over time are completely normal and are part of what makes genuine solid-wood furniture special.
The following are inherent features of handmade items and are not regarded as faults or defects:
- Shades of wood or finish varying slightly from piece to piece or from the website photos
- Minor differences in carving detail or overall appearance compared to the product images
- Small, discreet filler repairs (as long as they’re not excessive)
- Tiny differences in measurements or the exact positioning of shelves, drawers, etc., within normal handmade tolerances
- No two items being identical — each is individually crafted
- Slight gaps around doors and drawers to allow the wood to expand and contract with changes in humidity
- Subtle colour differences in fabrics caused by screen calibration
- Minor hand-finished variations on painted or printed surfaces

Aftercare
100% of our products are hand-crafted individually using solid wood.
Wood is ‘live’, hence it is important to ensure that you take care of the furniture.
Avoid placing your furniture under direct sunlight and/or near radiators. Also, occasionally polish the non-painted furniture parts with bees wax to retain sheen and for longer lifespan.
Avoid placing your furniture close to the radiator or in direct sun light, to avoid movement in the timber and to prevent your furniture from decaying. Natural wood isn’t water- or heatproof and is not a fan of chemicals. We highly recommend using a coaster to protect your furniture. If there’s a spill, wipe it up immediately with a lint-free cloth
